ACCEL Flight Simulation to provide enhanced support, spares and training capabilities for Rockwell Collins visual systems in China - November 07, 2018

ACCEL Flight Simulation has signed a memorandum of agreement with Rockwell Collins to expand its service and support capabilities for Rockwell Collins visual systems customers in China. Signed today at the 2018 China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, the agreement will establish a customer service function to provide local support in the region. This support will include same time zone support, Chinese-speaking service representatives and a reduction of overall turnaround times.

Rockwell Collins to support pilot training at Turkish Airlines with high-fidelity visual system - July 16, 2018

Turkish Airlines has selected Rockwell Collins to provide its EP-8100Ⓡ image generators with JVC laser illuminated projectors for pilot training for the airline’s new and existing fleet of Boeing 737 MAX, 777-300 and 787 Dreamliner aircraft, as well as its Airbus A320neo, A330 and A350 XWB aircraft. This new contract is for 14 new visual systems, nine firm with options for five more.

By 2030, the National Airports Corporation (NAC) of Papua New Guinea will operate 15 smart airports to accommodate the evolving security requirements and new International Air Transport Association (IATA) initiatives. To achieve this goal, NAC has renewed its contract with Rockwell Collins’ ARINC Airport Solutions for its Port Moresby Jacksons International Airport (POM).

BOC Aviation selects Rockwell Collins’ avionics for up to 74 new 737 MAX aircraft - February 06, 2018

BOC Aviation has selected Rockwell Collins’ advanced avionics, including MultiScan™ ThreatTrack weather radar, GLU-2100 Multi-Mode Receiver (MMR) and Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance (TCAS II) traffic computer TTR-2100, as a baseline configuration on up to 74 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft that begin delivery later this year. In addition, the contract includes the option for new aircraft will feature the Rockwell Collins Iridium® ICS-300 SATCOM unit, which is the only Iridium SATCOM solution approved for Boeing platforms. This product provides long-range voice anddata link communications that improve operational efficiency.

AR-1500 Airborne radio

Taiwan to adopt next-generation airborne radio from Rockwell Collins - February 04, 2018

Taiwan will be the first international customer to adopt Rockwell Collins’ latest-generation AR-1500 networked communications airborne radio. The radios will be built in Taiwan by the Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) under a manufacturing license agreement and will allow for the introduction of country-unique capabilities.
